When my banker asked me a far more detailed business plan - that I had no clue on how to make it - I started to work on the new project immediately and never needed that small line of credit I had stupidly asked for business. So when you need money ask for personal reasons (remodeling kitchen works every time) instead of taking business with a banker. Once I have written a two-page business plan to clarify my objectives and the ways I wanted to follow to reach them.
