Loved the call Michelle. Even though I'm always on Twitter, Facebook is definitely a place that I haven't explored yet. It mainly gets me confused.
But with all of the buzz and all of the people there I better get to learning it ;-)
Thanks,
Eren

I heard on the TWIT podcast that Gary Vanyerchuck of Wine Library TV who has a huge following was able to contact Facebook and they transferred his friend list to a fan page. I think this would be helpful to personal brands that have a lot of followers but I am not interested in becoming a fan of any brand except ones that are real people like Gary Vanyerchuck or someone similar.

Thanks for sharing this great news Michelle. It inspired me to spend some more time on Facebook. I'll have to re-listen to the ustream recording to fully comprehend how HUGE these changes really are. In any case I will now encourage more people to join Dr Claude Windenberger on facebook .

Sounds great - I'm gonna check my calendar now and spread the word. And you're right, that fan page change completely re-does the landscape.

I've actually found that the average person doesn't need more than 100 friends on FB to make the experience about as effective as having 10k email subscribers. It takes a non-traditional, laid back approach to marketing, but then, look at the environment of FB itself...
