Internet Marketing Catfight!

by Michelle MacPhearson

Right now, get on over to Internet Marketing This Week because the newest episode is up and this one’s a doozy! (This is, of course, if you’re not already subscribed in iTunes, because if you were it would be delivered automatically to you).

Paul Colligan, Lynn Terry, Ed Dale and I started off nicely enough with a look at who you should (or shouldn’t) partner with in your online ventures.  And we briefly touched on what could possibly be the biggest mistake Ed  has ever made – he’s planning on deleting his Facebook!

But then the brass knuckles come out. Head to head, blow for blow…  Lynn & Ed take on newbies in internet marketing and “spam” concerns and it’s safe to say there are some points they don’t agree on.  I promised to hold Ed’s hand as Lynn unleashed her wrath, but I’m not sure if even that support was enough to keep him safe from her wrath.

Get the download from Internet Marketing This Week.

Also, right now there’s an opportunity to get your voice and your website URL in front of the thousands of Internet Marketing This week listeners. Read this post on the IMTW blog for details.

Hi Michelle

I caught this broadcast & it was awesome, alot of great insights & jam packed info.

Being an Australian my support was for Ed as he faced the barrage that was to come.

However I found it to be refreshing & a truly honest conversation between 2 respected people in the industry.

At times we can get cynical during the usual backslapping interviews-especially during a promotion.
Having people who are willing to be frank & honest is of tremendous benefit to the listeners -especially newbies, & the industry in general.

I just finished listening to the podcast, I have to say – great information but I’m more agree with Lynn on her take for WordPress Direct.

thanks for sharing!

Hi Michelle, listening to the podcast now. You’ve just mentioned (on the podcast) that you are outsourcers for your link building. I have a question about this.

I’ve tried outsourcers in the past and have ended up with ’spammy’ links at the foot of a dodgy looking website (along with a few hundred other links).

Im now trying to build a list of ‘potential’ links myself and using Virtual Assistants to contact & build these links.

Would be keen to know how you work.

@Chris: A lot of this will be covered in CrowdMountain.com once it launches… :-)
