Master List of Coaches on Twitter

I got an email from a subscriber asking about the value of using SEO and social media for a more “general” topic like her own business, coaching.

I know there are some wonderful life coaches and business coaches on Twitter, so let’s make a master list of all the tweeting coaches to everyone can network, follow each other and make new friends in the industry.

If you’re a life, business, personal or other form of coach, leave a link to your Twitter in the comments!

(I trained at The Coaches Training Institute, which is why I have a fondness for all things coaching, but make my living generating web traffic – but if you want you can follow me @michellem.)

    Michelle,

I specialize in counseling small business owners with their lead generation, client attraction and retention, operations systemization, ecommerce-to-back office integration, and related internet efforts.

My clients are primarily retail, professional services, and blue collar type (for lack of a better word) service businesses, often in rural areas.

I also spend a good bit of time helping the owners of vertical market b-to-b software companies, which doesnt seem congruent with the above, until you dig deeper into the 3rd link below:)

  5. I was considering calling myself a life coach, and even did so for a while. I know it would probably be a good idea since more and more people are looking for life coaches. But the truth is that I don’t really coach in the traditional sense, since I basically just ask question to my clients–simple questions which when answered by them honestly, lead them to discovering their hidden self-sabotaging patterns and unwanted conditions (UCs), and then MOST IMPORTANTLY lead them to creating permanent unconditional freedom from those UCs they choose to be free from after being clear that the are too costly to keep around. Thus I sometimes call myself a total freedom coach, or a real freedom coach, or better yet a facilitator of the unconditional freedom process.

    Hey Michelle,
Just Twitter a call to action… and look what happens?

Not only do I coach students in the art of using Public Domain material but here are some of the questions I might answer:

Here are some sample questions you might ask me…

    * Given my background, do you think this is a good niche for me to choose?
    * Based on this, how much should I charge for my product?
    * HELP, I can’t figure out where to start looking for a niche idea?
    * I can’t find Public Domain material that fits my niche…. HELP?
    * How do I create an e-book?
    * How do I get the e-book up for sale on a website?
    * I can’t figure out how to use graphics… Help Me?

My coaching is actually part of a monthly lesson plan… but I can help just about anyone who is looking for their “money” niche idea!

    Hi Michelle,

I’ve been coaching since 2000, and now do it on request only to balance my time with my online businesses.

I coach both top level executives, business owners, and internet marketers and it tends be via referral. I draw on both my Global Corporate Experience in Marketing, Advertising & Communications in the ‘real world’ and also my On-Line experience with my niche businesses (Direct Marketing).

And I love my involvement with Ed Dale & Dan Raine and the 30 Day Challenge and helping people make IM a reality for themselves.

My website is dated – due to the above opening statement :-)

Helping people is the greatest joy I know (or one that can be shared in public ;-) ).

Fantabulous idea, Michelle! Thx for the headsup and for sharing the love!

I first got my coach certification in 02 with the Relationship Coaching Institute. Then I worked for T. Harv Eker from 04-06 as a SuccessTracs Coach. And my fave coaching model in the world is Mike Jay’s developmental Coach2 which I immersed myself in for 18 months.

I consider myself more of a consultant than coach these days. I specialize in relationship marketing consulting using social media, especially Facebook. I help entrepreneurs and solo professionals to strategically grow their businesses and profits using creative zero cost marketing techniques.

Hi Michelle – funny, I just answered your email single question on what’s my one biggest challenge in social marketing, and mentioned that I’m a life and marketing coach and sometimes find it hard to know which social media sites are best suited to my niche – it’s easier for the work I do with small businesses, people working from home etc in terms of the marketing, but less easy for the more general group of individuals I coach under the banner of busy people who want to have more free time and get to what’s important. Thanks for bringing us coaches together to share ideas, I look forward to participating. Like a couple of other people who have posted here, I’ve a background in traditional marketing comms, which I draw on for my internet marketing coaching, as well as years working as a consultant specialising in facilitating groups and individuals to develop new policies in the employment, training, education, small business and personal development fields. Love the world of social media/marketing, but would value some thoughts from other coaches on which social media sites tend to work well for coaches. Also, would love to connect with other UK coaches to find out the extent to which social media/marketing is being used by you!

    Thanks again Michelle.

    Hi Michelle,

Count me in! I’m part of a husband and wife team otherwise known as The True Callings Coaches. We obtained our master coach and master facilitator certifications at The Institute of Integrative Coaching at JFK (me first, Randy says – and not entirely joking – in self-defence!). Using our own life and process as a living laboratory (fun, most of the time!) – and following our own callings – we’ve originated a process we call Mission Mapping that helps folks tap into the inner smarts that shows them which ways are ‘on course’ and which aren’t so they more easily, naturally and joyfully find and live their life’s true purpose.

Michelle, just got a note about this from Mari Smith. Ditto to everyone else who’s already mentioned what a great idea this is!

I work with service professionals who want to build fun and profitable businesses. I teach them how to create education-based marketing systems that attract clients like crazy.

I also have an extensive training program teaching professionals how to stop trading time to dollars and develop profits from creating and selling information products and programs.

By the way, I noticed you’re collecting questions about challenges with social media marketing. Maybe we can swap ideas. I just announced a new program I’m doing on this topic next week. In only a day and a half over 600 people registered to participate and a lot of them are sending me their questions. 25. Linda Zimmer June 19, 2008 at 5:14 pm //

My name is Linda Zimmer, I am a Business Coach and The Purpose Connector.
After 30 years in the business world, owning my own business and working in many positions, I got my certification at CoachU and continue to expand my abilities ever since with additional training and development. In 2006 I got trained as a Purposeful Coach and now include this process in my practice.

Since 1999 I have been coaching business owners and professionals who want more time to do the things they love. My clients are often curious and want to discover and include their life purpose both in their business and personal lives

Working together in partnership, I often take them through my “Discover and Live Your Life Purpose” process. Then I help my clients design a balanced business and personal life by incorporating their purpose, strategies, methods and practices that make them more effective, more productive, and more successful.

Here are some of the reasons they seek me out and need me:

-They feel out of alignment in their job, business or at home.
    -They are lost.
-They are no longer happy in their business life.
-Finding their purpose will help them.
-Knowing their purpose will often explain what they could be doing that will bring back happiness, alignment and loving what they do every day.

I love connecting people to concepts, ideas and other people so they can go off and create something that is bigger then was possible before. Their creation process and the result gives them pure freedom and total self-expression.

I work with business people who know they have potential but are feeling stuck, or overwhelmed, or have lost heart for what they once loved.

Adaptive coaching is a specific, client-centred approach that respects each client’s right to an individually tailored coaching relationship. I recognize and encourage individual preferences for learning, taking action, communication and emotional expression.

I am looking for clients who are ready to develop their full potential, both in business and in the rest of their lives, and who will consider accepting:
    dedicated attention
    accountability for promises
    powerful questions
    action-based challenges
    support in reaching goals
    encouragement for taking action

I offer a free trial session, with no obligation to continue, so you can see how valuable coaching can be to you.

Where will you be in 5 years without this?

Be the change you want to see, now!

    Hi Michelle,
I appreciate your information and your creativity. Great way for you to get comments and a great opportunity for coaches.

After coaching individuals for more than 10 years, I started studying Neuro Science for a couple of years. I’ve developed a very simple, fast and reliable system for escaping debilitating emotions, self defeating thoughts and life threatening stress. I guarantee my coaching sessions.

When you’re in chronic stress, you do not have access the the structures in your brain that allow you to see a brighter future, develop a plan to create that brighter future or see yourself as someone capable of executing a plan. To make matters worse, chronic stress prematurely ages us.

I recently video tapes myself teaching my basic training and will have it up on the website in a short while. On the phone coaching sessions and live trainings are my favorite things to do.

Coaches also need help. So, my niche is as a coach’s coach. In brief, every coach needs to know who their client really is BEFORE they begin coaching them. That’s why I help coaches use Planetary Psychology(c) to fully understand every client before they even meet them. These insights are discovered immediately by looking at each client’s planetary clusters which reveal their psychological profile. These insights save the many hours that are usually lost in finding out how to work best with our clients before we can help them achieve what they truly desire.

Better late to the party than never! I'm an executive coach, working with corporate leaders, mostly in the form of “trusted advisor” but often around planning for next career and life phases (which gets into the areas of wellness, purpose, fulfillment – all the really fun work!).

I've been around since the mid-90's, and combine a relatively small client list with managing a roster of associates doing lots of corporate and life coaching and also consulting to organizations who are working to better utilize external coaches.
