MySpace Marketing – Conference Call Download

by Michelle MacPhearson

Lots of people seem to think that MySpace marketing is all about mass messaging people about a gardening ebook you’re an affiliate of and hoping for a sale.
It’s not.

Download the call I did with Content Desk’s Jack Humphrey to learn more about some really innovative ways to earn with MySpace and MySpace traffic.

And I’ll say it again – they DO have money.

Good point about the gardening ebook…

Myspace is still a very viable and lucrative marketing source, but you have to be careful. Their TOS clearly states that any commercial endeavours are forbidden.

This sucks, as I’ve actually done VERY well using MySpace to promote products and sites.

As to how much they can actually enforce this, I don’t know, but the way the TOS reads, you can’t even link to another website from your profile page…

Kind of defeats the purpose.

Just some food for thought…

Thanks Chris – marketers should always investigate the ins and outs of a site before using it for marketing purposes.

Thanks for this… I’ve been afraid to start out on My Space and other Social Marketing Sites… I am trying to learn how to do it right so that I can have fun in the Social atmosphere while also using it as a marketing medium… I don’t want to mess things up right from the start.
