Some Pretty Incredible Numbers: Headline Split Testing

I spent a few hours running headline versions for Tubeinator through Glyphius before I released it at a significant discount to prior customers today.

In the end, I took the 3 highest scoring headlines, kept the rest of the salesletter exactly the same, and sent folks through a rotator.  Each headline got equal eyeballs – and the numbers are staggering.   Now, this list is obviously warmed up, as they’ve purchased from me in the past and are getting a biggie discount today on Tubeinator, so the conversion itself, while incredible, isn’t what’s floored me.

What HAS floored me?

The top scoring headline in Glyphius has the highest visitor calue (by about 10%).  The second highest scoring headline has the second highest visitor value.  The third highest scoring headline, according to Glyphius, has the third highest visitor value.

Glyphius was spot-on.

By using the highest scoring headline, visitor value was nearly doubled.  And it’s not the headline *I* would have chosen, by any means.  But numbers, and Glyphius, it seems, don’t lie.

I won’t put up a web page now without running the headline & key text through Glyphius.  I suggest you do the same – I seriously thought this was hoo-doo voo-doo, but I’ve been sold.
