I wanted to give kudos to a subscriber of mine, Jon Michaels. He’s a Nashville singer / songwriter with extroidinary talent who’s also doing what it takes online to establish a presence. We corresponded back and forth a few times, and Jon was kind enough to send me his CD.
Ok, I’m going to be dead honest here - I have a HUGE subscriber list of musicians and in truth, many of them need some time to grow with their music before they’ll have a shot at making it. So my getting asked to check out someone’s music is often an exercise in tact.
So I got Jon’s CD in the mail, and we had a few people over, and I stuck it in the CD player.
I WAS FLOORED!
This guy has INCREDIBLE talent. His songs are beautiful (country, BTW) and I can imagine any of the big country stars licensing his work and having a #1 hit in no time. What’s more, Jon’s own voice and execution is impeccable; with a little exposure, I can imagine he himself making big waves in the industry. It’s a beautiful, heartfelt CD that i truly enjoy (as did my husband and our visitors).
First, I want to encourage you to check out his site and have a listen to his music. If you enjoy country at all, you’ll find Jon’s music beautiful.
Second, I want to thank Jon for sending me the CD and having faith in his talent, his music and his dream. You do amazing work, and I know it will come back to you tenfold.

Jon’s done a suberb job of helping site visitors “get to know him” by sharing both personal and professional details of his life (you read john Reese’s email on “Transparency,” right?). His “News” section is updated frequently (important, otherwise your site looks dead) and the whole site is very easy to navigate.
Enjoy, learn from and get inspired by Jon! Do big things, and take your dream as far as you possibly can, whatever they may be.
