So when I first heard about Joel Comm’s “The Next Internet Millionaire” reality TV (broadcast online) show thing, I wanted nothing to do with it.
Mainly because I didn’t expect a”real” TV show, and because, well, I try to find better things to do with my time then watch TV – even internet TV.
I’ve done my best avoiding the whole thing until this weekend, when I broke down and watched the first episode. It’s actually 51 minutes long! The set is killer, the filming and editing are top-notch professional stuff – honestly, not what I expected. It was a pleasure to watch and truly entertaining.
I’d read in my copy of Online Marketing Monthly that Joel had a lot of doubters with this project, and have to admit I was one of them. Now I’m totally sucked in and looking forward tot he next episode.
Check out Joel’s new definition for the “Sandbox” – it’s a creative twist to typical reality TV that’ll be interesting to see play out.
