These are the top ranking social media websites that you should focus your link building efforts on.

Great review Michelle. I didn’t see Tumblr on your list. Not unhappy about that with all the attitude they throw at the TDC. Next year maybe Ed will recommend Blogger instead.
Hopefully you’ll update this list once in a while for us.
Thanks, Mitch

Really liked the Youtube trick! Never thought to just do something that simple!
Great post-much appreciation!

Where-oh-where can I get this script?

Another video site that was not on the list that I got FANTASTIC results for (I’m talking #1 on Google Blog search) within 24 hours was vidilife.com
I’m not sure about the long term factor, but for quick measurable results, it worked great for me.
#
Thanks Michelle for this really useful list. It’s really helpful to know where to focus energy when time’s limited (and when isn’t it?!) I always read or listen to your posts because they never fail to have top info delivered clearly and quickly.
#
Great article.. and awesome video. Very helpful. Thanks!
#
i don’t see the list of social bookmarking that you are talking about.?
#
This is wonderful. Do you have this in a list format, rather than video? My laptop is old, and I can only view the first half.
Thanks for any assistance!

#
Thanks Michelle, I just found a website with over 2000 social sites and I had no clue on which ones to target. Now that I found your video my question is answered.
Thanks.
#
This is a great list. Thanks for posting!
#
Nice Video. I had not heard of Suite 101 before.
#
Great article and video . It is very informative . Thanks Michelle .
#
Glad ya’ll enjoyed the video – hope it’s put to use!

#
This was a great video, well worth the watch! I came away with eHow and Suite101 which I had been previously unaware of. Thanks!
#
Awesome advice, Michelle! Thanks for the “Link Juice” info.
#
Hi Michelle
Nice Video. Thanks for posting! Can you provide list rather than a video. It is not clear to see.
Thanks
#
wonderful tips. I am not a fan of videos, sometimes just wish simple powerpoint slides that cuts to the case
#
Wow, this is really good. I knew ezinearticles.com was good as I’ve had great success with them, but many of the others, I had no clue about.
Thanks Michelle!
#
Thank Michelle for posting this. Time is indeed in short supply and information like this helps us all to prioritise where our time should be spent..
#
Awesome video and great information. I’m surprised twitter didn’t make it to top 20.
Appreciate it

#
Great advice,
the question remains how you can do all this without spending hours and hours doing it!

#
Thanks, i also heard a lot of this info on the 30dc. Time is one of the most annoying factors about bookmarking.
#
great Video again michelle, your videos really help me, as you said time is the key fact in seo.
Keep it up!

One thing you forgot to mention, using social media on social media. I stumbled your YouTube video and getting traffic to a video on YouTube increases the chance that someone will follow your link back.
I have some fun video’s up, not useful, but fun. I still see a fair bit of traffic from YouTube and having stumble sending people there doesn’t hurt.
Good tips overall. I didn’t know about ehow and I use flickr, but never thought about the social media aspect. Will be adding backlinks on the pictures that I have there.
Thanks
#
Thanks for information! Good job’s!
#
Thanks Michelle!
Great content, I wrote down all the sites and will start using them. Thanks for the tip on Jing.
Thanks!
Gods Blessings, Anthony

Great Video, I have never used suite 101 but it is worth a try, and flickr either, so great video, and take care, Ray.
#
Hi michelle
your videos are great thanks for the tips.

Very cool material. It helped me a lot to improve my social media links. Thanks a lot
#
Thanks for the information Michelle, appreciate it. Did you see the video quality? Was that done on purpose? You are a hard worker I know that, but this video does not show as a professional marketer. Just a constructive opinion. I know my blog sucks…
#
Great video. Link juice here we come. Appreciate Michelle.
#
Excellent content as always, Michelle. Thanks! This aspect takes time, but it is well worth the effort. Good to have such a social media list. It is crucial to be a bit choosy here, otherwise we would have time for nothing else!
#
Thanks for the great presentation Michelle, you are the best! I can start to leverage more social media site to get good back links.
BTW, is 30 minutes back link still work well? many download sites will delete the “fake” software, and I think Google will start to degrade the link quality over time…
#
Wow, excellent tips and advice…. very practical stuff. Thanks for making this Michelle. MacPhearson, for the win!

#
Agree with everyone else, that is very useful info and will save time hitting the most important. Quality vs quantity.
#
That’s a good review from the queen of social webmarketing. Nice resources for link building.Hope people dont abuse it the stumbleupon or the digg way.
Thanks for the effort taken.
#
Awesome article. Although most of the traffic to my website comes from Google and Yahoo but Social Media Sites has been consistently giving me quality traffic too. Keep up the good work!
#
Loved the video and your articles generally. thanks
#
Great video – very, very helpful THANK YOU!
Question, though, I tried the YouTube trick (mini-tour of website recorded on newly downloaded Jing for upload to YouTube) and can’t get the upload to work. When I tried tech support the advice was for Camtasia specifically. Suggestions?
#
Great list… I just downloaded your daily to do and am about to print it so I can read it at Starbucks tomorrow.
Sometimes you just need to leave your computer!
Thanks,
#
Which tool you used in this video
#
Thanks Michelle for the resource. I love your videos and the great content you publish.
#
Thanks Michelle. Awesome list. I look forward to posting on these sites and see how my traffic grows!
#
Is this list still accurate? Usually these lists needs updating like every 3 months.
#
@Tjäna Pengar: Yes, it’s still accurate.
#
Great video, it certainly gave me a lot of pointers. I am in that category of people who don’t have time to go through all the social media sites. I actually is a bit surprised to see that ezinearticles.com is the only article directory that ranks high here. Does this mean that one should focus the article marketing only towards them? I have noticed lately that GoArticles.com articles have had problems being indexed in Google’s search results. do you have any experience with this?
Thanks for the post, and i have to admit that me reading on this blog for the first time today is a disaster. I will be back for more of your fantastic posts from now on.
#
