Win a CrowdMountain.com Lifetime Membership

by Michelle MacPhearson

Google has deftly dealt their Social Media Slap and folks who’ve relied on social media for their SEO have found their ability to rank quickly in Google declining.

What’s more, the “internet marketing” scene continues to be littered with “how-to” guides sold at a discount promising untold riches on individual social media sites, products like “How to Make Thousands Per Month on Facebook.”  Anyone who’s invested in these kinds of “special reports” knows it’s bunk.

Then there’s the “loopholes” and “tricks” wherein innocent marketers are duped into believing there are shortcuts to search engine domination and the resulting traffic it brings.

There’s more to life than social media )although it’s an excellent tool) and there’s more to life than SEO (although it too is a great tool).

You want a business built on a solid foundation using multiple streams of traffic.  Not just SEO, not just social media, not any one tactic, trick or “loophole” should be responsible for the majority of your traffic.  This way, when Google deals their next SLAP, you still have a viable business.

WHAT IS CROWDMOUNTAIN.COM?

Viable online business building is what CrowdMountain.com is all about. Step-by-step training on developing traffic pulling presence in niches that are ripe for the picking – and profit.  And more than just step-by-step training, CrowdMountain provides tools, scripts and plugins to make your journey faster and easier.  As you’ve experienced, what worked six months ago may not be as effective today, and as such, CrowdMountain also gives you constant marketing and traffic building updates so you’re always on the cutting edge.

This is an excellent opportunity. I would love to have a membership to something this great. The niche i am currently depends on a lot of ways to get traffic so this would be an excellent way for me to learn what to use and what not waste my time on. Everything Michelle has recommended. I have used and seen results from. I loved your last report on the social media myth it helped me to clear up a lot of things about social media use.

But you have one placed in prime position at the top of your post. Just because it doesn’t mention “How to make” doesn’t mean it is not in a similar bag.

Discuss the apparent logic in that?

Michelle MacPhearson February 23, 2009 at 8:31 pm

@Belinda Mooney: So happy to see you on Twitter – it’s a top referrer for traffic for me, and I know it will be for you too as you’re already making great connections!

Michelle MacPhearson February 23, 2009 at 8:32 pm

@Cass: Thanks for the support Cass – also will point out re: Paul’s comment that what I teach is always about systems and using multiple sources/methods for traffic, never ONE site or ONE method. Things change, it would be irresponsible for me to depend on a single referrer and even more irresponsible for me to teach that kind of one-off marketing.

Stephen Bray February 24, 2009 at 1:36 am

Hey Michelle,

You know I found you through an old post on someone else’s blog two years ago. Right back then you were by far the head of the field in predicting how Web 2.0 could be used to harness the web.

Today’s post just shows just how much you are on the ball. Anyone with a web presence, and especially those of us building Niche blogs needs to be subscribed to your list.

Frankly though, I don’t think of Google as an enemy. It’s true ’she’ tries to ‘own’ the Internet, but really it’s in the cause of delivering relevant content to people searching. I am not surprised that Google hates SPAM pages when I see what some people put up to capture traffic from keyword phrases!

I am all for people having a better experience when searching on-line, which is why this blog will always work for me, and hopefully my niche blogs can also deliver.

All good wishes,

Stephen

Hey Michelle, any chance I can swop a Crowd Mountain lifetime membership for a free week in my beautiful Rural Hotel in Mallorca?? I know this is blatant bribery, but with all this crisis craziness I’m reverting to bartering wherever possible! You could also send a video or two from here so I can make notes on your relaxed, laid back style(flattery sometimes works I’m told!)Will Crowd Mountain have a VIP section (Stand Out in the Crowd?)- even if I don’t win I’d still love a DM from you!!

The Frugal Connoisseur February 24, 2009 at 9:01 am

Thanks for filling a need. Saw your video on your new website – would love to be a part of it! Just tweeted – now I need a kleenex : )

This sounds corny but am so excited as this was my very first tweet sent out at http://twitter.com/nicoleboc_inxs/status/1248508767.

I have been a subscriber, follower and client of yours every since I came across IM 18 months ago.

Thank you for everything you do, especially helping to teach me to use cool tools like twitter. Your info is always cutting edge and first class and you are an absolute inspiration and my mentor. You have also introduced me to some of the most wonderful marketing minds on the web who I am also learning so much from.

Crowd Mountain will be awesome just like all of your other products and I can hardly wait.

Wishing you every success with the launch, you so deserve it. Go Girl :)

Cheers from Nicole ( Aussie Down Under )
