Your 31 Day Internet Marketing Makeover Begins Today!

by Michelle MacPhearson

This entry is part 1 of 23 in the series 31 Day Internet Marketing Makeover

Lemme take a couple of wild guesses here…  Do any of these sound like you?

  • I own a bunch of domains I bought with the best intentions, but I’ve not developed them yet
  • I’m not getting as much traffic to my sites as I’d like
  • Sometimes I’m a little overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin
  • I know I’m not earning as much as I could from my sites
  • I should be doing more lead generation and email marketing
  • I have too many projects and not enough time
  • I’m spending too much time on administrative tasks and not enough time growing my business
  • I sometimes finish a day’s work on my business but feel like I really haven’t accomplished anything

It’s ok, it’s pretty typical!  As an internet marketer, part-time or full-time, you’re really an entrepreneur to the core.  And with being an entrepreneur comes lots of ideas and ambition – all good things!

But we also tend to spread ourselves a little too thin, which is what leads to the “symptoms” above.

I’ve certainly been through it, and to prevent it, each year I spend some time to “makeover” my business.  Make sure everything is running like a well-oiled machine, getting priorities straight for the next year, determining which ventures should be ramped up and which aren’t worth the time and effort.

Over the next 31 days, you have the opportunity to give your entire business a complete makeover too.

And it won’t cost a red cent.

Funny – I was just talking about you in a post that is a great example of me and all of my half-baked projects and unused domain names. Looking forward to participating…

Thank you Michelle – can’t think of a better way to end the year and charge into next year thoroughly “made over”

Yippee!

I’ve got a friend who really needs this. He has a potential big business and keeps getting distracted by all these little companys and juices etc. He hardly gets to the big business. He is starting to see the light about how he’s wasted his time sort of being afraid of his future success. They were offered 3 million for it and turned it down. It is expected to do much more than that and be ongoing. I’m going to sing up too. we all could use this. And thank you. you have always been helpful and giving. Gail

yes to most. outsourcing and delegating lighten the load.

Cool, thanks for creating. I’ve been thinking of trying CM and maybe will if I can get a jump start here.

Does this compare with the 30DC, a good next step maybe?

Looking forward to the next post!

@Jim – The content is very different than the TDC, it’s not about building sites or marketing them, but rather taking what you’ve done already, tieing up loose ends and maximizing what you’ve already got to it’s full potential.

Are you reading my mind? All those questions you stated have been going through my mind too much lately. Time for my tin-foil hat!

David December 1, 2009 at 1:12 pm

May just be what i need to start the new year off on the right foot.

Thanks Michelle — do you have access to all my unused domain names and unfinished projects? Because sadly all those questions have my name written all over it!

I’m looking forward to this.

Really excellent idea Michelle. Don’t want to sound sexist here (bad enough just being a Dinosaur), but there something innately practical with some women and the way they go about things. A lot less testosterone fueled guru hype (cr*p) too. And even if you don’t think you need a makeover (like me, I’m handsome enough already), it won’t do me (you) any harm to follow along and harrumph “I knew that…” in the background for a few days. Great stuff.

Terence.
